Villa Park De Koog is situated at the edge of a unique dune area: it is only a few minutes away from De Nederlanden by foot, which is a part of the National Park ‘Dunes of Texel’. The dunes in this area are exceptionally beautiful with their steep slopes. Galloway cattle and sheep graze the area. A bike and walking trail will take you, within 5 minutes from the exit of the park, through the dunes, to the North Sea beach near Paal 21.

The reception of Villa Park De Koog is located at Camping De Shelter (approximately 100 metres). You can go there to rent (electric) bikes and use the fresh sandwich service. Daily grocery shopping can be done at the various supermarkets in De Koog.

From there you can walk back via the beach and stop at a cosy beach cafe on the way. Back at the villa your muscles can relax in the sauna. Do you prefer cycling? Then take the farmer's route (‘Boerenroute’) to Oudeschild and treat yourself to some delicious fresh fish."
