In 2017, Keezbord organised the very first Four Against Four tournament on Texel. By popular demand, another edition will take place on 14, 15 and 16 November 2025 at Holiday Park De Krim!

The Four Against Four tournament

Four against Four, a game variant of Keezen, offers a unique experience focusing on teamwork. Classic Keezen is derived from the Canadian Ally. It is traditionally played in pairs.

The four against four variant allows you to play even more as a team. By emphasising cooperation and strategies between team members, Four against Four adds an extra dimension to classic Keezen, making the game even more engaging for all participants. Four against Four is all about thinking ahead and anticipating possible moves by fellow players. On Friday evening, there will be an explanation for those who have not played this variant before.

The Tokken tournament

Tokken, an English variant of the classic game of Keezens, has a growing number of fans because of its unique game experience and versatile playing options. Tokken is played in teams of two participants. With its unique twist on the traditional game of Keezens, Tokken offers a new and entertaining experience for players of all levels. Great fun to take part in once!

Participate?

If you want to participate then sign up with a team consisting of four people for Four Against Four and with a team consisting of two people for Tokken. On Friday evening 14 November, you can come and meet the other teams and play some practice games Four against Four or Tokken. On Saturday 15 November and Sunday 16 November, the tournaments will be played.

You register for one of the tournaments. So make your choice in advance whether you want to join the Four against Four tournament or the Tokken tournament.

Cost: The entry fee for the Four Against Four tournament is 70,- per team of 4 people. The entry fee for the Tokken tournament is 35,- per team of 2 persons. The entry fee should be paid to the organisers.
