Program Pre-Sail Texel

27 June

A number of tallships will arrive in the harbour of Oudeschild during Tuesday afternoon and sailing ships will anchor on the Reede van Texel, just like in the days of the VOC. In the evening, a number of singing choirs will perform.

28 June

On 28 June, a Pre-Sail will take place in Oudeschild prior to Sail Den Helder. Starting at 14:00, the event will be opened with an official programme for invited guests and interested parties. An acrobat act will be performed from a ship and there will be speeches by the mayor, commissioner of the king and the chairman of SAIL Den Helder, among others. In the evening, there will be performances by various bands on two outdoor stages, including a nationally known band at 23:00.

29 June

A braderie will take place in Oudeschild harbour on Thursday 29 June. From 12:00 to 16:00, the Sail In, also the start of Sail Den Helder, can be admired from 't Horntje.

29 June to 2 July

Take the boat to Den Helder for Sail Den Helder and the Marine Days. Read more about Sail Den Helder. On Sunday 2 July, from 12:00, the Sail Out can be admired from 't Horntje.
