Camping with the Fine-Weather Guarantee

Good Weather Guarantee

Texel has the most hours of sunshine in the Netherlands. But what to do when the weather isn’t that great during your holiday? When booking a camping pitch at our campings, you automatically receive a Good Weather Guarantee.

What does it mean?

This guarantee applies when you are forced to end your camping holiday prematurely due to bad weather. It allows you to carry over the remaining days you had booked so you can use them another time.

Please note that the days carried over under the 'Good Weather Guarantee' cannot be booked in July or in August.

How does it work?

Report to the reception if you are forced to end your holiday prematurely due to bad weather. State the reason for your early departure. You will then be entitled to use the remaining days throughout the year (except for in July and August).

Use your remaining days?

Contact the Booking office. They will be able to see in the system how many days you are entitled to and make accordingly a new booking for you. You will only have to pay tourist tax.
