Holiday Park De Krim has won the KNRM Gouden Pennant. The park was chosen by the general public from a list of 10 affiliates nominated by the KNRM. “Each nominee did something noteworthy for the KNRM (Royal Dutch Rescue Society) in 2015.”
Each year, Holiday Park De Krim recruits many new donors for the KNRM from among its guests. “Donors are enormously important for the continued existence of the KNRM. It is unique that Holiday Park De Krim not only communicates that message, it also goes to great lengths to make the donor drive a success,” the KNRM comments.
The Golden Pennant is an annual appreciation award for affiliates of the KNRM that in the previous year have done something to distinguish themselves. The award is presented by the KNRM itself with support from Faber Vlaggen, the supplier of the ‘normal’ KNRM pennant. The KNRM composed the shortlist of nominees. Finally, the general public determined who would win the Golden Pennant. The Silver Pennant was awarded to Laura Borneman from Hindeloopen and Hans Sterkenburg from Egmond went home with the Bronze Pennant. Each nominee received a certificate.
