Come to the musical family show of the SHOT former members' orchestra (SOLO) and experience an evening to remember! 110 musicians from all over the Netherlands will come together for a reunion to Texel and bring an evening of drums, singing and beautiful music to the Evenementenhal. With well-known and unknown songs, including from Frozen and How to train your dragon, they will provide a dazzling evening for young and old. So, will you join the adventure?
Buko Solo Orchestra
The orchestra's "Dirigentje" has to take exams to become as good a conductor as their grandfather (the orchestra's conductor Ronny Buurink). Grandpa explains that it takes a number of things to become a good conductor. Music involves different sounds but also feelings. A narrator explains to the children that music will be made together and that music consists of all different elements. They let the children hear these elements and then they can apply them themselves. For instance, they can sing along with Frozen, march to a well-known march and dance to a beautiful paso doble. There will also be plenty of spectacle for the parents, as well as beautiful music by Mario Bürki and Eric Whitacre, among others.
