Visit the villages on Texel

Spread across Texel, there are seven villages. Every village has its own distinctive look and character. Den Hoorn is situated at the south end of Texel and can be seen from the boat. In the very north, near the Waddendijk, De Cocksdorp is situated. De Koog is the ultimate seaside town of Texel. In Den Burg, you can find many shops and pleasant terraces. Oudeschild is home to the Texel fishing fleet. The smallest village is De Waal, and it is situated in the middle of the island. According to many, Oosterend is the most beautiful village of Texel. We recommend visiting them all, and seeing which one is your favourite!
